A sharp rise in the price of cooking gas cylinders

 LPG Price Hike: Inflation has hit the masses one more time. While petrol and diesel prices are already skyrocketing, state-owned oil companies have also hiked cooking gas prices. In Delhi, a 14.2-kg cylinder will be available at Rs 834.50 instead of Rs 809 from today. That is a direct increase of Rs 25.50.

Prices vary on the first day of each month

Government oil companies change the price of gas cylinders on the first day of every month. Earlier on May 1, the gas companies did not change the price of LPG Gas Cylinder. Earlier in April, the price of LPG cylinders had come down by Rs 10. While prices rose in February and March.

Prices in other cities

Even in Mumbai, 14.2 kg LPG cylinders are now priced at Rs 834.50. While so far it was Rs 809. In Kolkata, the price of an LPG cylinder has gone up from Rs 835.50 to Rs 861 per cylinder. In Chennai, the price of an LPG cylinder has gone up to Rs 850.50 from today. It was Rs 825 till yesterday. You have to pay Rs 872.50 for an LPG cylinder in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. In Gujarat, Ahmedabad will have to pay Rs 841.50 per LPG cylinder from today.
