Mini lockdown announced from tomorrow to 5 May

Night curfew imposed in Himmatnagar, Palanpur, Navsari, Valsad, Porbandar, Botad, Viramgam, Chhotaudepur and Veraval-Somnath
 Mall-multiplexes, parks, restaurants and places of worship will be completely closed till May 5 in all 29 cities including Ahmedabad.

 Grocery stores, vegetable, fruit, medical stores, milk parlors, bakeries and grocery stores will continue.

 The state government has imposed night curfew in 9 more cities of Gujarat as part of Gujarat's rescue efforts in the wake of the Koro epidemic.  So far, night curfew has been imposed in 20 cities, including Himmatnagar, Palanpur, Navsari, Valsad, Porbandar, Botad, Viramgam, Chhotaudepur and Veraval-

Somnath.  Thus, the curfew will now be in force in a total of 29 cities of Gujarat from 8 pm to 6 am till May 5.  Moreover, the state government has decided to put additional restrictions in these 29 cities.  Thus, the government's 'mini lockdown' has been implemented in the cities of Gujarat and the spontaneous lockdown of the people in the villages.

 It may be recalled that Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today held an urgent meeting with the Home Department regarding the April 26 guidelines of the Home Ministry of the Government of India.  After the meeting, Corona made important decisions, including imposing a night curfew on 29 cities.  In 

addition, units, including mall-multiplexes, where crowds gather.  At the same time, the list of banned units in Gujarat has become Motimus again, which is exactly the same as it was implemented a year ago, i.e. in May 2020.  Thus, Gujarat has returned to where it was exactly a year ago in the fight against the Koro epidemic.

 Earlier on April 6, Gujarat government imposed night curfew in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot, Surat besides Gandhinagar, Junagadh, Jamnagar, Bhavnagar, Anand, Nadiad, 

Mehsana, Morbi, Patan, Godhra, Dahod, Bhuj, Gandhidham, Bharuch, Surendranagar and Amreli.  Was.  The government took this decision as the situation of Corona in these cities was very bad and announced a night curfew till May 5.

State government announces additional restrictions in addition to night curfew in 29 cities of the state

The control dt.  Wednesday, April 28, 2021  Effective Wednesday, May 05, 2021.

All essential services will continue in the above 29 cities during these restrictions.

Grocery stores, vegetable, fruit, medical stores, milk parlors, bakeries and grocery stores will continue.

All industries, manufacturing units, factories and construction activities will continue in these 29 cities as well.  All these units have to strictly follow the SOP.

All medical and paramedical services will remain the same.

All restaurants in these 29 cities will be closed, and take-away services will continue.

All 29 cities will be closed for malls, shopping complexes, bazaars, cinema halls, auditoriums, gyms, swimming pools, water parks, public gardens, salons, spas, beauty parlors and other amusement activities.

All APMCs across the state will be closed.  Only APMCs engaged in the sale of vegetables and fruits can be continued.

Public access to religious places across the state will be closed, only administrators and priests will be able to perform the rites.

Public bus transport across the state will continue with 50 per cent capacity.

A maximum of 50 people can attend weddings across the state as per the rules and 20 people can attend funerals.

In this urgent meeting chaired by Chief Minister Rupani this morning, Minister of State for Home Pradipsinh Jadeja, Chief Secretary Shri Anil Mukim, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Shri Pankaj Kumar, Director General of Police Shri Ashish Bhatia, Principal Secretary of Health Dr.  Senior officials including Jayanti Ravi were present.

It may be noted that the Gujarat High Court, in a hearing on Suromato's position on Corona's condition, had suggested a 3-4-day curfew or lockdown to break the chain of transition in the state.  On the night after the meeting of the Care Committee, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani announced a night curfew from 8 pm to 6 am in 20 districts of the state, including 8 Municipal Corporations.

Prior to the meeting, the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister had a video-conference discussion between Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister PK Mishra.  The situation had improved in December-January after the 

Corona case had earlier escalated during Diwali, but the state has seen a huge turnout these days with rallies and matches in district-taluka panchayat elections in addition to municipal corporations.

Situation like Health Emergency in Gujarat
Gujarat is facing a regular health emergency, in which patients are suffering without oxygen due to the incompetence of the system and the government.  In the midst of all this the cases are rising every day.

The all-time high of 14,340 new cases was reported in 24 hours on Monday, though it is only 44 more than on April 25.  At the same time, the total number of positive cases in the state has crossed 5 lakh.  So far 5,10,373 cases have been reported in the state.  While 7,727 patients have beaten the corona.  As well as 158 patient deaths.  Which is one more than April 25th.  The death toll has risen to more than 150 for three consecutive days.

Currently more than 1.20 lakh active cases in the state.

1,21,461 on active case and 412 on ventilator
The number of new patients and the number of discharged patients have been increasing in the state for the last 86 days.  Earlier on February 20, the number of recoveries was higher than the number of new patients.  While 5 lakh 10 thousand 373 reports have come positive in the state so far

 The death toll has risen to 6,486.  Also 3 lakh 82 thousand 426 patients have been discharged so far.  In terms of active cases, there are currently 1,21,461 active cases in the state, out of which 412 patients are on ventilator, while 1,21,049 patients are stable.
