Is your PAN card linked to Aadhaar card or not? This is how to check status
The last date to link the PAN card with Aadhaar is March 31. Earlier this date was till 30 but due to Corona it was extended to 31 March 2021.

You can easily link your PAN card to Aadhaar with the help of Message or Incometax website.
If you have linked your PAN card to Aadhaar but do not know its status and you want to know if it has been linked or not, there is a way. By which it can be known that your PAN card has been linked with Aadhaar.
How to check
To check you have to open Incometax website https://www1.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/e-FilingGS/Services/AadhaarPreloginStatus.html . After opening it you will see two boxes. In one box you have to enter your Aadhaar number and in the other box you will be asked for the pen number. Enter the page number and click on View Link Support Status.
Clicking on it will link to your Aadhaar card page and you will get a message of success. If the base and page are not linked, you will be shown the status as such. This will let you know that your PAN card is not linked because of this.
If the page and support are not linked, you can delete the request to re-link it. You can also link to it by going to Intex's website. To link PAN and Aadhaar via SMS type UIDPAN <12 digit Aadhaar number> <10 digit PAN> and send to 567678 or 561561
Those who have not linked the PAN card with Aadhaar will have to pay a late fine of up to Rs 1,000 if they link it after March 31. Apart from that PAN can also be deactivated and the work of the bank can be stopped.
