Gandhinagar: The state government has decided to postpone the Std-10 and Std-12 board exams (Gujarat Board Exams 2021) which were to be held from May 10 to May 25 in Gujarat, considering the current coronavirus situation.  The state government has said that the new dates for the exam will be announced on May 15 after reviewing Coro's transition status.

It has also been decided that students will be given at least 15 days to prepare for the exam as these new dates have been announced.  The state government has also taken an important decision that as a result of the prevailing status of Corona, students in Std 1 to 9 and Std 11 in the state will be given mass promotions this year.

 Offline education off

 Considering the prevalence of corona transition across the state, the state government has taken one more decision in the health interest of the students.  The government has announced that direct education in classes 1 to 12 across the state i.e. classroom education will be closed till May 10 or any other order by the state government.

CBSE Std-10 exam canceled

The Modi government on Wednesday took a major decision to conduct CBSE Board Examinations amid the Corona virus crisis.  CBSE Std-12 examinations have been avoided, while CBSE Std-10 examinations have been canceled.  As per the announcement of the government, standard 10 students will be promoted.  Standard-12 examinations have been postponed till further orders.  A decision will be taken after a review on June 1.  Students will be given 15 days notice in case the exam can be held.

Education Minister Ramesh Porkhial Nishank said that CBSE Std-10 students will be promoted on the basis of internal assessment.  If students do not agree with their assessment they can take the exam when the condition of Covid-19 becomes normal.

The examination was to be held from May 4 to June 14

 CBSE Std-10 and Std-12 examinations were to be held from May 4.  The All India Student Association also demanded that Std-10 and Std-12 examinations be avoided.  A letter was written to the Ministry of Education from the association.  More than 3 million students 
were to appear for the CBSE board exams this time.  The #CancelBoardExam2021 campaign was also running on social media to cancel exams amid the Corona epidemic
